Coffee With…
April 16 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am
This Coffee With… workshop will help nonprofit leaders integrate Face-to-face (F2F) engagement into their fundraising strategies by focusing on real-time, in-person conversations. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of why face-to-face interactions are crucial to the success of annual giving campaigns, along with strategies to make these connections more frequent and impactful.
Leading the session is Ray Watts, CSPG, Associate Vice President for Philanthropic Giving at Cal State University San Bernardino. He will share his extensive experience in donor engagement and face–to–face outreach. Before joining CSUSB, Ray managed the Development/Philanthropy team at Claremont McKenna College and directed all philanthropic outreach efforts. He worked closely with Trustees, the President, and the Vice President for Advancement to achieve organizational goals, making history as the first liberal arts college to surpass $1B in a single campaign. Ray also spent 17 years in philanthropic leadership at the University of Redlands, where he led two major gift campaigns and collaborated with staff and volunteers to raise over $400M.
Face–to–face fundraising is a powerful tool for building genuine connections and inspiring immediate action.
