RAP Foundation Grant Opportunities
The Regional Access Project Foundation’s Vision is to enhance the quality of life for all residents of eastern Riverside County by investing in nonprofits and empowering them to effectively serve unmet needs identified by the RAP Board of Directors. Our grants are designed to accomplish this vision.
Our Grant Applications are available for qualified nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and governmental agencies. The following restrictions apply:
- The program, service, or project must benefit residents in Coachella Valley and Palo Verde Valley.
- Programs funded must address one or more of our Focus Areas: Health, Mental Health or Juvenile Intervention.
- Funding requests cannot be for fundraiser events.

The Regional Access Project Foundation (RAP) Inc. incorporated in 1992 as a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation in order to address unmet needs in health, mental health and juvenile intervention for residents of eastern Riverside County through grants and technical assistance to not for profit service providers.
The Administration of the RAP Foundation consists of a local Board of Directors and a CEO. Dedicated managers and coordinators oversee each of our programs.
We are always looking for motivated Board candidates who support our mission and have a strong skill set to help guide the RAP Foundation and set organizational governance.

- Grant funding is ONLY available to nonprofit organizations (501c3), government agencies, school districts and tribes.Services covered under the grant must be provided to residents of the 4th Supervisorial District for the County of Riverside. Organizations based outside of this area are welcome to apply as long as the project/program for which they are applying is based within the District.
- Services provided must be one of the following categories: Health, Mental/Behavioral Health or Juvenile Intervention.

NPO Centric is a program of the RAP Foundation. It is a supportive resource for nonprofits in Riverside County, with their offices located inside of the RAP Foundation building located at 41550 Eclectic St, Palm Desert, CA 92260. NPO Centric helps nonprofits become more effective by sharing proven practices, promoting solutions, and identifying and sharing emerging trends that benefit nonprofit organizations and those they serve. NPO Centric helps with building strong, resilient organizations by providing knowledge, resources, and systems to sustain today’s successful programs while growing their impact over time.
