Dom Betro, A.C.S.W.
Dom Betro is President/CEO of Family Service Association. He assumed direction of the agency in 1985 and has guided it through thirty five fold growth and diversification. Currently the agency has an annual budget of 23 million, employs 450 F.T.E. employees and annually renders over 3 million hours of service impacting over 55,000 individuals. On an annual basis over 500 volunteers also contribute over 90,000 hours. Services include Counseling, Child Care, Community Development, Community/Youth Centers, Senior and Nutrition services, affordable Housing and various social ventures.
Dom is a Lecturer at various Universities: California State University San Marcos, Human Development and Social Work; California State University, San Bernardino, Graduate School of Social Services and Public Administration; Schools of Business at University of Notre Dame; Nonprofit Administration and LaSierra University, Social Entrepreneurship.
Dom has been active in local and state politics. Dom was elected to public office as Ward One Councilman for the City of Riverside from 2004-2008. Dom has a B.S. Degree in Psychology, and a Masters Degree in Social Work. Both degrees are from Fordham University in New York. He also has a certificate in Non Profit Management from the Columbia University Non Profit Institute.
